“When I was a senior in high school I needed to make a decision on what my next step would be in life. I wanted to do something I loved and make a living at the same time. I have always had a love and compassion for animals and I wanted to make a difference in the community about pet care.

When doing my research I ran across Northcoast Medical Training Academy. I was unsure about it since I was still in high school. I called and scheduled an appointment to meet an advisor who was very helpful in answering my questions. Once I started my classes, all of the instructors were very personable. They actually became like family and someone you can trust, unlike most schools.

The best part of the VA program was that it was very hands-on. You worked one-on-one with actual animals to get you ready for work in a practice. Since I started schooling I was employed at the Stow-Kent Animal Hospital where I was able to put my newly learned skills to use. I was recently promoted to being a supervisor because of what I knew and how I applied it to working. I love where I am at today and I give the credit to Northcoast for pushing me to be the best I could be. I would recommend them to anyone.”
